Department of Anatomy

Prof. Rehana Azeem is a distinguished scholar of anatomy with teaching experience of 34 years. She has worked as Professor Head of department in various Medical Colleges of Punjab since 1990 to date, with 19 years experience as Professor in Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Postgraduate Medical Institute and Rawalpindi Medical College. Prof. Dr. Rehana Azeem is a distinguished scholar of Anatomy with a Rich experience of Medical Education and Administration. She has served as Principal F.J.M.C Professor and Head of Department in various Medical Colleges of Punjab since 1990 to date. She has more than 21 years of experience as Professor & Administrator in various medical colleges of Punjab in F.J.M.C & Post Graduate Medical Institute and Rawalpindi Medical College. She was Associate Professor in Allama Iqbal Medical College from 1986-1990 & Assistant Professor in K.E.M.C since 1982 to 1986. She was Demonstrator in F.J.M.C in 1977-1980 and M Phil student in 1980-1982. She had passed her M.phil in 1982 and posted as an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Raza Younus (Assistant Professor)

He is a consultant general surgeon who passed his FCPS in 2010, and teaching Anatomy since then. He has completed 17 workshops and has 5 publication in medical journals that has been presented in national and international conferences. His MRCS final is due and he has special interest in inculcating modern methods of medical education in his teaching practice.

The department is well equipped, big dissection hall. Histology Lab, Museum, Bone Bank, Demonstration Room & Offices of Faculty & Departmental Library
