ENT DEPARTMENT

Dr.Nadeem Raza, Associate Professor and Head of Department,

He did his MBBS from KEMC in 1986, DLO in 1996.He did his fellowship FCPS (ENT) in year 1998.since then he has worked as senior registrar at SIMS/services hospital for eight years and as assistant professor at same institution. He has five publications in leading journals of Pakistan. At present he is working as Associate professor, head of ENT department.

The department of ENT (Otolaryngology) is a well equipped department for the treatment of all the routine diseases of ear, nose and throat. Moreover, it is having a future vision in head and neck tumor surgery, mastoid surgery, advanced surgery on laryngeal disorders, FESS and reconstructive/cosmetic surgery. The department provides a learning experience at all levels. There is a designed teaching program for third and fourth year MBBS students providing excellent opportunity for undergraduate medical students to learn the subject. Wide range of surgeries including tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, septoplasty, rhinoplasty, FESS, Mayringotomy, Tympanolpasty, and Direct Laryngotracheoesophagoscopy are routinely carried out. The department is also having facility of audiology clinic consisting of specialized sound proof room with modern audiometer for patients with hearing disorders. The department is also equipped with recent journals and reference books in departmental library. Research is also encouraged in the department of ENT.

He did his MBBS from NMC in 2003, fellowship in ENT in 2010; He has worked in Sheikh Zayed hospital for six years. He has three publications in leading journals of Pakistan and presented papers in various conferences.
