Entry Test & Admission Procedure

Prospectus

The prospective students can obtain the prospectus in the following ways.

·         College prospectus can be obtained from the college at the cost of PKR 1000/-

·         Prospectus can be obtained by Post / Courier Service by sending money order for PKR 1500/- to the Principal.

·         Foreign Students can get Prospectus by paying US $100 or by post sending US $150 per prospectus.

Selection Process

The selection process comprises of merit calculated on the basis of result of FSc, Entry Test and Interview.

Entry Test

Candidates applying for local Pakistani seats and overseas Pakistani students will be required to appear in the entry test. The Entry test will be administrated by University of Health Sciences, Lahore. Test will be based on multiple choice formats. Subjects included are Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English of secondary school level. The details can be obtained from the website of U.H.S.and its prospectus available at U.H.S.

Interviews

Applications will be processed by Admission Office of Continental Medical College on the basis of marks of F.Sc. and Entry Test, students will be called for interview. Interview will be conducted by Admission Committee headed by Principal. The purpose of the interview is to evaluate the personality and aptitude of the applicant and the motivation level to become a doctor.

Final selection of students will be based on their academic record, eligibility criteria and interview by the Selection Committee. List of selected students will be displayed on the college notice board. All the selected students will also be informed at their given postal address or contact numbers mentioned in their application forms.

Confirmation of Admission

Admission of the selected students will be confirmed only after they have deposited the College admission, tuition and other fees as prescribed, within 8 days of announcement of the results. If a seat is not confirmed by the due date, it will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.

Once a student is admitted in the College, his / her original F.Sc, Matric and other certificate will be deposited in the college. Copies of these certificates will be sent to concerned Board/ University/ institution for verification. If the documents are found incorrect the students will be expelled from the College and his fees/dues will not be refunded.

Original Certificates of admitted students will be kept in the College and will be returned only when student leaves the college (after graduation or surrendering his / her seat).
