Department of Physiology

She is a highly experienced teacher with more than 37 years ofteaching experience in Physiology in various Medical Colleges of Punjab. Graduated in 1969 from Fatima Jinnah Medical College Lahore and has been taking positions in Punjab University during her study in medical college. She received a gold medal in Pathology in final professional M.B; B.S. Examination.

After doing one year house job in Gynae and Obstetrics in Sir. Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore she joined Physiology Department of Fatima Jinnah Medical College Lahore in 1971.Then after doing M.Phil (Physiology) from Postgraduate Medical Institute Punjab she worked in Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore as Assistant Professor in Physiology for about 5 Years and then continued as Associate Professor in Physiology in Allama Iqbal Medical College & Fatima Jinnah Medical College Lahore for 7 years.

She was promoted in 1992 as Professor of Physiology in Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore and worked for about 13 years and then in Fatima Memorial Hospital College of Medicine & Dentistry Lahore for another four and a half years. She is an examiner in Physiology for first Professional M.B. B.S Part I & Part II Examinations of the Punjab University and University of Health Sciences Lahore for the last 16 years. She also acted as an examinerfor M.Phil. (Physiology) examination at Postgraduate Medical Institute Lahore.Other faculty members in Physiology Department included  Dr. Hajira Fayyaz Khan, Associate Professor, Assistant Professors and Demonstrators.

Dr. Hajra Fayyaz Khan has 33 years experience of teaching Physiology to under graduate and Postgraduate Medical students. Graduated from Fatima jinnah Medical College, Lahore in 1971 with distinction in Special Pathology. She has worked as associate Professor in AIIama Iqbal Medical College, Fatima Jinnah medical college, PGMI punjab and Fatima Memorial Hospital & College of Medicine and Dentistry. Delivered lecture to the students of FCPS-1, 9^thand 10^thBMS courses. Had been a teacher and internal examiner for M.Phil Physiology major and minors. External examiner for DLO, DA, Diploma in Psychiatry. Paper setter and external examiner for MBBS 1^stProfessional examinatin part-I and II. Atended several workshops for Master trainer Program and Communication Skills conducted by University of Health Sciences Lahore.
